We are pleased to announce that the former NCI station in Wales, Great Orme has left NCI as of today and joined SSG, we wish them well in the new venture details of the station to follow. The station to be known as Coastwatch Wales Llandudno.

It is with great sadness we have to tell you that the past Controller of Happisburgh Coastwatch Station Fred Rendell has passed away. “Fair winds and following seas, to you sir, Stand down your Duty done” RIP Fred.

Hartlepool Station

Sadly have to advise you that Bill Wilson the Manager of Hartlepool Coastwatch Station has passed away. “Fair Winds and Following Seas to you Sir. Stand down, Duty Done“. Sadly the Station has also had to close down due to the shortage of Watchkeepers also.
